Painting K&K
As has already been said, I don’t like working with color. Well, there is no emotional zeal. This lack of “traction” also applies to oil work. First of all, I don’t like VOLUMETRIC techniques. I don't really like hard brushes. In general, I only use a palette knife when I clean the palette of old paint. However, I like the bright color, good coverage (I can’t live without cadmium, especially yellow) and I also adore glazes.
Then why do I use oil paints? I have always wanted to have a real painting at home on canvas and in a thick frame. So I started “painting in oils”. And then I liked stretching and priming canvases, mixing paints, and I liked that characteristic smell.
