Graphics tablet. My son gave his old bamboo to WACOM. I used his great-grandfather back in 2002. Over the past years, this gadget (I can’t call it anything else) has undergone major changes. But he remained the same! “It” is not intended for the artist. Of course, an artist can use WACOM to create a drawing. Anyone who can draw can do it much faster and better than a “simple” designer or computer scientist. Creating graphics in a vacuum is easier because the process is reversible. There is no need to be afraid to redraw unsuccessful work.
But it's still better to just use your hands. When you start working on a sketch, you gradually build up the “meat” and inevitably come to the end. This is very convincing compared to electronic cards. It is impossible to create a work of art with them. Why? Those who know will understand.

It should be noted that there is a noticeable improvement compared to older models. But the speed is still not the same... Severely lags behind pencil movement. It slows down.
To work, in my opinion, is optimal in Adobe
Especially for those who are used to Photoshop
and if you enlarge it by a couple of monitors (in this case, move the laptop to a larger screen), your work becomes easier, your work becomes more fun...
I also tried programs “for ARTISTS”. These claims, as one might expect, are greatly exaggerated...
Well, there can't be a program that imitates the artistic styles of an artist. Can not! And standard Photoshop already has the required number of tools.
...and what doesn’t exist, you can create yourself...
...so for now, computer substitutes are still very far from being an artist. Although much closer than 15 years ago.
