ESTJ - Shepherd's Right Hand.
If Jesus is our shepherd, you’re his loyal sheep dog maintaining close unity and fighting off wolves. When someone starts to drift away you’re quick to turn him or her back. When someone threatens the church, you defend it fiercely. You encourage everyone to join established, meaningful institutions such as the church. Through practical leadership you keep members on track in carrying out plans, progressing toward goals, and fulfilling the church’s purpose. You faithfully enforce behavioral norms with a clear and consistent focus on the mission. You lead people through structure and organization. With a natural skepticism toward ambiguous possibilities, you rely on factual, realistic details to guide your decisions. Your focus on objective details and logical analysis can prevent the church from being misled by irrational, emotional appeals. That same focus on factual details can blind you from the larger picture and the human element of God’s work. Be careful to avoid offending others and neglecting the soft sides of godly service such as showing kindness, gentleness, compassion and spreading peace, joy, love, etc. Make those spiritual fruits part of your routine service and you can help every church member internalize them. Nurture habits of listening to people with different perspectives to find balance in your decision making.
