You can wake the church when it becomes apathetic or lazy or get an active church moving on a new opportunity. With creative vision for accomplishing God’s will and a sensitivity for what moves people, interacting with others and spreading enthusiasm to accomplish God’s purposes energizes you. Though you may often sense failure in your own efforts, others see you as gifted with charisma, charm, and compassion. Some may misinterpret your enthusiasm for your own visionary insights as pushy. Overcoming these misunderstandings requires gentle patience and sharpened listening skills. With a rare ability to appreciate the value of both sides in many areas of church tension (traditional versus contemporary, theory versus practical reality, doctrinal teaching versus active ministry, etc.) you can bring diverse personalities together and encourage unity.
Guiding Scriptures: Ps. 40:8–9 and Matt. 5:9
”8I desire to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart. 9I proclaim righteousness in the great assembly; I do not seal my lips, as you know, O LORD.”
“9Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.”
