Let’s all think RED this Friday in honor of our Glenwood teachers and staff. To celebrate American Education Week and show how much we LOVE our teachers, we want everyone wearing RED!
American Education Week—November 18-22, 2013—presents all Americans with a wonderful opportunity to celebrate public education and honor individuals who are making a difference in ensuring that every child receives a quality education.
The leadership, teachers and parents of CHCCS will be partnering to show support for education in North Carolina. District and school leaders have planned activities throughout the week, including VIP and media visits to schools, roundtable discussions on the state of education in our community and state, and teacher recognition events. Please show your support for our amazing Glenwood staff and all educators by wearing RED ON FRIDAY!
Other ways to show support could be: volunteering in the classroom, bringing in snacks (RED apples!), bringing in much needed school supplies such as copy paper and glue sticks!
