The goal of the Glenwood PTA is to serve the whole community of the school - the students, teachers, staff and families - by providing necessary resources to support the highest quality educational environment possible.
We fulfill a number of roles:
We help advocate for the needs of our public school system in Chapel Hill and NC
We raise much-needed additional funds for the school such as basic classroom materials, library books, field trips, author visits, and software licenses
We organize regular community-building events for the whole school community
We also organize a number of teach appreciation events
We provide parent volunteers to help out at school events and during the course of the year - thank you for all the help you provide!
We assist Glenwood families in need
