UNC-Chapel Hill's department of Physics and Astronomy is having their annual Physics Demo
Show on Saturday, March 2nd at 2:00 PM. The event will be held on campus in Phillips Hall room 215.
This year's theme is "Out of this World Physics." Several faculty members and graduate students will perform fun physics demonstrations with an emphasis on things related to space. Comets, asteroids, meteors, rocket engines, light, and more will all be discussed!
The event is free to the public and suitable for all ages! The show will last about 45 minutes with time afterwards available for up close inspection and interaction with the demos.
