Creating a player for photon usage is 2 steps:
- first create player 'regular' way: 'Tools/Combat Framework/ Third Person Creator/Create Player'.
- next, convert that player to 'Photon' player by clicking on 'Tools/Combat Framework/Third Person Creator/Photon/Convert Object To Photon Variant' which
will open conversion window.
Assign player object to 'Object' field and click 'Create'.
That will switch all necessary components to its multiplayer variants.
Drag a newly created player to 'Resouces' folder and assign
that prefab to 'PhotonScene.Player Prefab'' field so it can be
loaded on arriving in a multiplayer room.
What converter does is replace regular character scripts to
photon variants and add some additional photon
component.
Scripts that get replaced are:
- 'TPCharacter' to 'TPCharacterPhoton',
- 'PlayerControl' to 'PlayerControlPhoton',
- 'TriggerManagement' to 'TriggerManagementPhoton',
- 'PlayerControlTopDown' to 'PlayerControlTopDownPhoton',
‘TriggerManagement’ to ‘TriggerManagementPhoton’.
Components that get added are 'PhotonView' and
'PhotonAnimatorView'.
