Thomas Kinkade

Thomas Kinkade was born in Placerville, CA in 1958.  He died in the year 2012.  He is considered to be a luminist painter, because he uses light as a tool.  He did not sell his originals, but instead donated them to the state of CA.  His last painting he sold was to Bill Gates for ½ million dollars.   Thomas’s copies are called lithographs.  He honored his wife by hiding N’s in his paintings.
