Welcome to the Flagler Renewable Energy Collaboration Initiative - Doing more with less

This effort is a proposed strategy for a coalescent approach intended to identify and promote renewable energy applications through local needs while enhancing awareness of the rich activities between community elements on a local, state and federal level, to the citizens in Flagler County.

The goal is to exploit the abundant talent and resources our nation has to offer on a local scale and develop this initiative as a cooperative partnership between educators and industry to create jobs. This prospect is a green best business practice model that can evolve from assertive stakeholder participation in industry and free enterprise. Our nation NEEDS a competent workforce that is actively engaged. Motivation is the key.

The strategies adopted within are intended to reflect the value to modify behavior and promote skill through affirmation, diversity and proactive influence which produces genuine esteem.

The Economic Determinant of Evolved Necessity or EDEN Operation is a proposal to strengthen individual skills through community involvement and social networking. These opportunities include discovering barter and sweat equity initiatives and are centered around building relationships, commerce and education.

The Flagler Renewable EnergyCollaboration Initiative or FRECI Application is an assertive approach to energy policy, conservation and emerging technologies.

The e-nablor page features a story about an electron named Lector that is intended to amuse and, maybe...just maybe, plant a seed of curiosity and begin your child's journey into another strange world. A world very similar to their own, where everything is seen on a nano-scale, from the bottom up. As with nano-technology, things are not as there appear to be and forces affects behavior

As a nation, can we afford to continue with the current status quo?

People are calling for change and a chance to perform. Social media has the promise to shape public opinion and create frontiers for new voices in the public arena. Social media is a new approach to an old theme..being a neighbor or stakeholder.

Today, stakeholders are no longer bound to spatial confines. Through the means of technology and media, situational awareness promotes opportunities to those privileged with chance to respond to new frontiers. Just like in the days of old, some of our digital pioneers are intimidated by the landscape. Some are exploited with malevolent intent. Clashing cultures competing for limited resources can lead to masses feeling lost, alone and powerless. And for those with skill and advantage, this may appear to play well into "their" game.

Like craftsmanship, critical skills are running scarce.

Opportunities for wealth and expansion are limited. And people are trying desperately to cling onto what they have in order to survive. They are so choked up in desperation, they believe they cannot afford to hold out a hand.

Let's go back for a second; there was a day when most people thought their neighbors were more critical to their survival than money. They didn't have the luxury to be independent.

And what is the value of legal tender. Since leaving the gold standard and stretching our trade relationships abroad, does money really provide an efficient means for distribution of assets?

Maybe the time has come to recognize a cycling trend, which the original charter of this nation had as a guiding light. That charter harnessed strength through relationships between community, family, free enterprise. That forced diversity into a pragmatic solution to serve the masses ..the engine of spirited cooperation.

It shouldn't take a national emergency to remind us:

· how delicate and vulnerable we are without utilities and service providers.

· how common needs help bond us in times of crisis

· the spirit of competition does not have to have negative connotations and consequences

More than money, our common wealth is not just each other, but that spirit which dwells within us to build each other up..not tear each other down. So how does that happen? By having the courage and comfort of sharing time in the community through service.

It's thrilling to hear some describe how applying their talent in the community has led into experiences, perspectives and relationships they never could have imagined. Serving as a community leader not only fosters and creates opportunities for transferring potential to real skills, but can lead to other unintended rewards. Sometimes success is a matter of being at the right place and time, while knowing how to listen and respond to circumstance. Listening skills are an important cache to the core of skills employers find desirable and essential to maintaining effective customer relations. From a critical standpoint, the call to lead forces members into a place of maturity.
