Getting it down to a science

This is an effort to:

• 1. Apply disciplines in math and science, as described in the Florida Sunshine State Standards, to a community service entity Focus of Root (FOR). The FRECI Application was selected for this baseline initiative.

  2. Use the curriculum offered by NEED Project, FPL Education Outreach and the State of Florida and process data through the FRECI EDEN Bussiness Model

  3. Create a Venn diagram to clarify the overlapping objectives between the curriculum and community service project goals.

  4. From this effort, document focus of root finding for publish.

  5. Offer the finished product to a target client.

A survey of our resources:

• • The objectives outlined the State of Florida Grant study program awarded to St. John's housing Partnership to retrofit homes for net zero energy systems. (Renewable is do-able in the house)

  • Common core competencies in math as defined by State of Florida Core Competency and National Standards (Common State Standards)

  • The curriculum from the NEED project to identify Sunshine State learning objectives in math and science (Sunshine State Standards database).

  • The Tribal knowledge page to navigate applicable websites or development curriculum.
