Although broad in scope, EDEN is a media instrument that targets the object of human potential as a source of energy and is intended to:
mitigate the damage to communities from the Mal-effects of domestic violence.
bring about individual healing through lifestyle modification and choice.
promote awareness of behaviors associated to post trauma stress disorder and other tragic circumstance
identify strategies to encourage adults overcome their limitations through mentoring, enterprise, community service (and) or social media.
EDEN can be a hub for wholesome family networking and education during non-business hours.
EDEN is my proposal to assist or create a non-profit community based organization in exploiting resources typical of web 2.0 and Next Generation technologies. This effort helps clients discover they are not alone and how feelings of isolation can be minimized or amplified by technology.
EDEN provides a conduit for students, through community leaders, test their knowledge and skill to influence public policy.
This is where innovation, critical evidence and the unknown come together and are implemented into a process. Combined with a specific community interest or cause, the influence from the EDEN operation helps participants:
1. Expand comfort zones through relationships
2. Inventory the resources available relative to the user
3. Consider how discovery of new resources and untapped potential can restore belief
4. Determine apparent and latent value of product and by-product
5. Lean new skill through barter, volunteer or on-the-job training
6. Transfer that skill into assertive application by mentoring
7. Channel the use of technology to reinforce public policy and marketing trends
The EDEN operation or method barters skills and, or seeks extra curricula activities in education that exist in a non-traditional setting for pre and post K12 education. The word EDEN also implies the comfort and courage that companionship affords during trials and tribulations.
EDEN serves as a core operation enabling clients in learning and mastering new skills themselves before reaching out to their community through public service.
EDEN helps any client..adults, youth, parents...develop or recognize potential outside of the mainstream or conventional context. With our job market stalled, more now than ever, the value of networking, combined with technology, expands the potential for awareness and ways to get out there a do something new for compensation. Although the measure of being successful is not exclusive to a paycheck, self reliant sustainability is the goal.
Science and math skills are the fulcrum on which technology is leveraged to either bring us closer together or keep us apart. If we are to sustain our posterity, we must exploit all gifts and talents into service for self and others. This is what is at stake .
Advertising, marketing and social media are tools used to shape consumer choice. The power of suggestion influences our culture and shapes the lifestyles for generations to come. The EDEN operation tries to address the issue of responsible living. This proposal is a deliberate approach to embrace people from all walks of life by using the effects of technology and commerce to build each other and heal our wounds while addressing local needs.
Like most operating systems, the EDEN operation is systematic way for organizations to filter information and produce a desired outcome, behavior or product. What makes EDEN a unique filter is the rate and method information and data are critically channeled by a host to serve the core client. This is a soft process and not a computer operation. These kinds of relationships between man and machine are nothing new. But because information is often obsolete before it reaches its intended purpose, EDEN addresses the protocol of transfer as a key instrument of communication to shape the client or consumer behavior. By challenging perceptions, conventions and beliefs through assertive and adaptive discovery, new opportunities and choices are revealed. The EDEN operation is focused on the building of each individual as a capital asset worthy of investment as a stakeholder for community regeneration. Similar to an operating system on a computer, an application needs to be applied to transfigure the participant and transfer their potential to energy. EDEN is intended to work with any client or serve any application. But for the purposes of this study, the author selected a need specific to his community and edification.
