I originally purchased this set in 1999 and finally opened it up on May 22, 2023!

THE ADVENTURES OF G.I. jOE 2010

OPERATION: SILENT STRIKE

The G.I.jOE that I got in this package has black "flat top" painted hair and brown eyes (NOTE there is also an African American version of this set).

He wears an elaborate body armor vest of molded plastic with red text: "G.I. JOE on the left shoulder . (Note: This armor vest was first used in the 1993 GIJOE Hall of Fame - Major Bludd, except it was purple coloured. The armour vest was used again in the 1997 Aliens vs Corp Hicks, except it was more decorated like one worn in the movie "Aliens") . Tucked in back of the body armour are a pair of metal dog tags: one inscribed: "GIJOE by Hasbro R" and the other inscribed: "The Adventures of GIJOE 2010" on a silver metal bead chain. The figure does not have a t-shirt under the body armour.  The pants are multi green triangular print.  The helmet has a visor that pulls down with a red monocular. The packaging describes as "rangefinder armor", but you can decide what it is used for; maybe Infra-red body heat signatures?  The knuckle knife is huge and over-sized as it was originally made for the G.I.jOE Hall of Fame - Snake Eyes. It wasn't until I opened my set that I discovered G.I.jOE  wore "tanker boots", not the usual molded lace-up boots that were used in the Classic Collection series.   Some collectors commented that the coolest part of this set is the crossbow and the three crossbow projectiles aka bolts. The crossbow is not bulky and fits G.I.jOE 's hands nicely and the bolt shoots really well!! 

My set also had a $3.00 dollar discount sticker that I should have used when I originally purchased this set.  :(

My Proof of Purchase UPC code is 76930 81623. I wonder if this set had other colours of painted hair G.I.jOEs or is this UPC code is specifically just the black painted hair G.I. jOE?

1. Gain entrance to the heavily guarded facility without detonating any sonic sensitive booby traps scattered within the compound. Because of the sound-activated traps, you will need to consider carefully your choice of weapons.
