Where's George

Late in April of 2011 I went to Office Depot in south Jacksonville, FL for some photo paper. Included in my change was a dollar bill with some strange markings. "Wheres George" the purple ink read. I went to the website and registered the dollar at www.WheresGeorge.com as part of the currency survey. Here's th dollar. It's back in circulation, and while I didn't get incarcerated for copying US currency, I was asked by a "staff" person at wheresgeorge.com to blur out the serial number, lest someone taint the circulation data by falsifying a reported receipt. Good citizen that I am, I have complied by installing an image with the identifying number obscured.

After I made my report I found that the bill evidently hadn't traveled very far (according to recorded history anyway). About six miles as the crow (or the dollar) flies. The staffer told me this link to the circulation history will work for you. Maybe this dollarwill get out of the county by the time you check on its whereabouts. :)
