"Mariposa" is the Spanish word for butterfly. This presentation includes information on pollinator support, such as the monarch butterflies that visit Mexico every winter when they overwinter in the Mariposa Monarca Biodiversity Reserve. It also highlights other butterflies that live in central St. Johns County, including the St. Johns County IFAS/UF Extension Center. Find out more about these amazing creatures and how to help and understand them. Use the resources from my presentations, below.
