The photo below was taken at Ray's wedding in 1942, Harriett's Son.

This is the only photo i have found of Harriett, she is 2nd from the right.

Ellen (Joan's Friend), Flo (Joan's Friend), Joe, Ray & Joan, Henry Almond & Eddie, Harriet Kirk - nee Blissett (Ray's Mum), Mable (Joan's old babysitter)

Corner of Catherine Street & Cranbourne Street.

Frederick & Harriet lived at 52 Catherine Street for a while.

Snippet of Birth Certificate of Harriett Elizabeth Blisset. Born 19th March 1889 at the Union Workhouse, Great Bowden.

Martin Street Leicester where Frederick & Harriett lived in a small 2 up - 2 down house.

In the picture below you can see the Toll Gate that was placed at one end.

All the family was packed into this tiny house before they moved to Braunstone.
