Description:
The Technology Services course was developed during the transition from Moodle to the Canvas learning management system. It is used in conjunction with new student and staff orientation sessions and to provide remote learning opportunities for those who are unable to make the face-to-face sessions. It also houses the IT plan and timeline so that the college community is kept updated on important timelines.

I worked with the IT team to determine what information needed to be available to our audience for orientations and subsequent reference. I also researched help desk and IT sections of various other colleges for further guidance. I then planned out the modules, supplementary documentation, screenshots, and images during the content outline process. Once the content was built I tested it with a small group of peers for ease of use and comprehension. The first live implementation of the course occurred in August 2014 and it continues to be updated frequently.
