You can score points in many different ways. Some are easy; some are more complicated:
* What's a Group Response Bonus? When we do peer response in groups, if everyone in your group completes his/her response on time, everyone in the group gets this bonus
** What is a "Borderline" or "Pass" grade? Reading Logs and Essays will be graded as "Revise," "Borderline," or "Pass."
"Revise" means you need to keep working on your college writing game; that piece of writing is not ready for prime time.
"Borderline" means your practice is paying off, but if you want to be sure to win the game, you should keep working.
"Pass" means you are a pro; if you've done the other things you need to do, you are on your way to the big leagues for sure.
*** What is a One-On-One Super Bonus? When you meet with the instructor in his office to get one-on-one instruction, you get the individualized knowledge of how to win the game AND you get bonus points to help you get to the top.
