Peer Response Reflection
Look at the feedback you received from your peers in the comments section of your essay page. Then write the answers to these questions at the bottom of the wiki page for your essay:
What did you learn from other people who read and commented on your essay?
What did you learn from reading other people's essays?
Describe at least two specific revisions you plan to make to your essay based on the peer response work.
While you wait for others to finish, begin making the changes discussed in item #3.
One last thing to add
What should we do with Downing? He started this whole discussion. We need to work him into our essays somewhere. Where could we do this?
Where did you feel most connected to Downing?
Are there any quotes from Downing that refer specifically to some of the problems you've mentioned in your writing?

Titleist (15 min)
We are going to play a game called "Titleist." This game is played in Title Teams of three.
Object: to be the Title Team that comes up with the best titles the fastest.
Game play:
Each Title Team will meet for five minutes at the start of the game. During this time, team members need to explain to their teammates what their essay is about. Team members can take notes during this process.
Each Title Team will be given a number of Title Cards.
The game begins when the Title Master (that's me) gives one hint for the titles that must be created. For example, I might say, "Write a title that mentions a color."
Then each Title Team writes three titles that would fit with one or more of the essays in the group on the Title Card as quickly as possible. The first Title Team to bring a completed (and legible) Title Card to the front of the room has an opportunity to win the round. However, the second Title Team to bring a completed (and legible) Title Card to the front of the room has a chance to knock off the first team.
After the first two Title Cards come to the front of the room, the Title Master will call time and read the first Title Card. If it is not legible, the second team wins the round (assuming their card is legible). The Title Master may question either Title Team to make sure the titles fit the team's essays. After reading the first Title Card and determining if the titles are appropriate, the Title Master will do the same with the second card.
To determine the winner of the round, each Title team then casts one vote for either the first Title Card or the second Title Card. Ties go to the first Title Card.
Then another round begins with a new title hint.
Winning: One point will be awarded to the winner of each round. The Title Team that wins the most points wins the game.
