The Cymeri (sigh-m) line is the rarest in all of Tedas. They are natural communicators. This does not mean that they are constant talkers just that when they speak it is clear, consistent, and powerful. It is this capacity for communication that allows some of them to manipulate the world around them. This power to command other matter is amplified when they are descended from both Cymeri and Rian heritages. Even if someone from the Cymeri line doesn't display the power to communicate with other matter, they prove to be some of the most eloquent story tellers, musicians, actors, and political leaders.
Physical Characteristics*
*It is important to note the eye appears the same as a human eye and the eye color refers only to the iris color. Also of note there are no yellow or orange colors. For violet/purple see Cha Ti.
Marriage and Population
The Cymeri family had the greatest variety of choices because of their dual eye color, thus giving them the option to marry someone with either color. Later in their history the dual color became rare and often undesirable.
During the two thousand year period (Fisate Hu Lithu "Time of Ignorance"/Fislithu "Ignorant Times") when Tedani adopted the habit of marrying someone with a specific, "opposite" eye color. They were only allowed to marry their opposite. Since the Cymeri line frequently had two different colors there was some aversion in procreating. Most saw it as an unclear and unspecific trait. During this time the Cymeri line dwindled. They have yet to recover from this time.
During the Ko Ganaoth ("Year to Awaken"), the Cymeri had become such a small group that they were thought to be extinct. What had happened was they secretly blended themselves into other lines. They employed various methods from just hiding their distinct characteristics with disguises to removing themselves from society. Leaving these habits behind proved difficult for the Cymeri line and so they remained unnoticed. Around the middle of the Ko Ganaoth a census was taken and found that less than one percent of the population had connections to the Cymeri line. Declared an endangered culture, anything Cymeri was gathered together in the central cities of the continent as a way to preserve and promote awareness of this part of Tedani heritage.

Religion
There is a common core set of beliefs that all Tedani subscribe to believing. The Cymeri were given the power of communication. This principle or power states that since all matter contains a degree of intelligence then all things can communicate by some manner or another.
