UM Research Trip on 10-12 April 2016

A total of 15 researchers involved in conducting research for 3 days at Observatory KUSZA, ESERI UNISZA. They are of staff, graduate and undergraduate students from the Department of Physics and Academy of Islamic Studies, University of Malaya. PhD students, Final year project and research fellows from EMRG team are also been here along these days to join the observation and data collection. We were doing the observation for sky brightness of KUSZA Observatory sky to monitor the light pollution index for future benefit to optical astronomy research field.

Eventually, a discussion collaboration between UM, UMT and UNISZA were further discussed for the purpose of joint research and publication between universities. We are glad to have the opportunity to meet the leading researchers in optical astronomy in Malaysia here with us and guided us in this field. Special thanks to Dr. Nazhatulshima, Dr. Mohd Saiful Anwar, Dr. Raihana and their research team for knowledge sharing session and we hope that we will collaborate more in future.
