Observation of Geminids Meteor Shower at Balai Cerap UniSZA

There was Geminids meteor shower phenomenon occurred from 7th to 17th December in every year. The shower's peak expected to be occurred at night of 14th until 15th December 2021 in early morning. An average of 120 meteors per hour expected to appear on the sky during the peak of this phenomenon

A 24-hours observation was held at Balai Cerap UniSZA from 13th until 16th December 2021 by EMRG team. Dr Kamarul Ain from UniSZA with 2 master's students, Izzati and Syida also joined this observation. An introduction briefing about comet and meteor had been given by Najmuddin and Izzuddin to give better understanding on this observation.
