The Google group is a group email service, known as a listserv. You can send email to the group, and receive email from it, using Yahoo, MSN, and most other email accounts.. You do not need to have a Google email account. If you receive email from ELHS68, you have been accepted into the group (Hecker and Marvin are the moderators and control access to the group).

The Google group does have a website where all the emails are stored. One will need a Google account to be able to access the site. You do not need to start using Gmail, you just need to have the Google account.
To log in to your Google account, click on the link at the top of this post. You will then be able to choose your Google account, or, if you don't have one, you can follow the prompts to set one up. Google accounts are free, and you will not be compelled to use Gmail nor will you receive any promotional messages.
