CLO 5253.1 - Offer alternative instructional suggestions and strategies that address the specific needs of California’s diverse student population.
CLO 5253.2 - Identify a clear instructional goal that is related to the English content of the standards.
CLO 5253.3 - Provide the learning in each instructional year that lays the necessary groundwork for success in subsequent English courses.

Check List of what your Unit Plan should include:
Must cover at least 10 days of class meetings (two weeks). Daily plans for at least 10 days. (outlines are fine).
Must cover an entire work of literature: a novel, play, non-fiction book, set of poems, set of essays, set of short stories, or a mixed set (poems, essays, short stories on a particular theme).
Must cover at least ten days total (2 weeks if you meet daily). Daily plans required (in outline form is fine- you may use the five LMU Lessons Formats if you have not already used them in your teaching). I need to see what you are doing and what the students are doing EVERYDAY. Must cover an entire standard or unit such as the Romeo and Juliet (not half of the play). Whatever you start, please finish. Example: Romeo and Juliet - do 2-3 lessons on how you would introduce the unit (Into) 5-6 lessons getting them through the play (Through) and 2-3 lesson on how you would end the play and unit (Beyond)

Week 15 - Finals Week - Present your unit in a video. Please highlight the major components of your unit plan. Please tell what you will be doing and what the students will be doing. The presentation should be 3-4 minutes.
