Dear Urban Education Colleagues,
Please see the message below. It is really important that you submit a mid-tern deficiency grade if you have a student who is in danger of getting a grade of B minus or below. If a student is on the fence and it between a B or B minus – please give the mid-term deficiency grade. The grade is not recorded on the official transcript. The student will get a notification of the mid-term deficiency. It is also very important that you speak with the student and inform him/her that you are submitting a mid-term deficiency. Please also discuss additional support the student will need.
If you are going to give your student a mid-term deficiency, please let me know.
Directions for submitting mid-term deficiencies are attached. However, if you need assistance, please contact one of the following:
Northern California faculty: Nohemy Colin (Nohemy.Colin@lmu.edu)
Los Angeles faculty: Megan Coulter (Megan.Coulter@lmu.edu).
Mid-term deficiencies need to be submitted by 13 October.
Sincerely,
Edmundo Edward F. Litton, Ed.D.
