Building Community Through

Arts & Culture

EACH Arts and Culture Center: A Fusion of Tradition and Community

We are delighted to announce the integration of the Kangtai Arts and Cultural Troupe into EACH, enriching our Arts and Culture Center with a splendid array of Chinese traditional dance and musical instrument performances. The Kangtai Troupe, with its rich heritage in traditional arts, brings a vibrant tapestry of cultural expressions, enhancing EACH's commitment to fostering community through the arts.

Our center offers classes for community members and hosts various events, including dance and instrument performances and arts festivals, each reflecting the diversity of cultural traditions and artistic styles within our community. These events are more than just displays of talent; they celebrate cultural diversity by creating spaces where people can come together and fostering a sense of belonging and shared identity within the community.

The arts are a powerful medium for community building, serving as a universal language that transcends barriers, unites diverse groups, and fosters a shared sense of identity and heritage. They are essential in weaving the social fabric of a community, allowing us to explore, understand, and appreciate our shared common humanity.

EACH Arts and Culture Center is steadfast in its mission to promote and preserve these invaluable cultural practices. We believe in the transformative power of the arts to cultivate connections and strengthen the communal bond. By embracing and celebrating our diverse cultural expressions, we aim to enrich lives and build a more inclusive and vibrant community for all.

The Town of Arlington, Massachusetts, recently organized the 2023 Lunar New Year Festive Event on February 2 at the Arlington Town Hall. EACH's Arts and Culture Troupe provided captivating performances, including Peking Opera, traditional Chinese dance, and musical instruments. As an organization, we are committed to preserving and promoting traditional dance and musical instrument performances and fostering arts and cultural practices in our community.

The 2023 Arlington Lunar New Year Celebration video, produced in collaboration with Arlington Community Media, Inc. in Arlington, perfectly captured this vibrant and colorful event's spirit.
