The Lunar New Year started on Feb. 16, 2018 this year, symbolized by the Dog from the Chinese Zodiac. Enhance Asian Community on Health (EACH) has made the Chinese Lunar New Year celebration a much-anticipated annual event. The purpose of the event is to enrich the local community with various cultural activities and programs. EACH proudly kicked off the Lunar New Year’s Celebration event at multiple senior home locations from January to February 2018.
Each of the annual Lunar New Year celebration events featured numerous Chinese traditional cultural presentations, including music, dance, martial arts, Taichi, and food. In collaboration with our corporate sponsors, over 300 seniors, friends, and families attended the program at the following locations:
Unquity House, Milton on Jan. 29 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Winter Valley, Milton on Feb. 9 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
BCEC Chinatown, 120 Shawmut Boston on Feb. 24 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The Moorings at Squantum Gardens, Quincy on Feb. 26 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Council on Aging, Arlington on Feb. 27 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
