Was assigned to you when you were 11, is in his 40’s and pretty chilled out for a lugoman. He’s a company man, who joined up after serving in SouthAm in the army and has considered it a pretty good move. You are his retirement gig - he is too old to run the very edge anymore, but bodyguarding a goldenkid is fairly low-risk, and rewards a more experienced Solo is can be at home in a corporate environment. After you turn 18 and have to sort your own protection he will get a quiet desk to jockey until he punches out.
He has an extensive wardrobe so can look at home for any function provided you give him notice. His prefered default is a jacket and brown armoured trenchcoat.
Is your bodyguard for corpzone / low risk activity where a team is not needed. Mostly he’s a chaperone, driver and organiser of your protection detail.
He has a bunch of corporate recognition chips for his cyberoptics that often give him heads up displays on people (that work for net54) and he worked out how to splice his throat mike into your V-trodes so he can feed you details on the plebs that are meeting you.
Relationship Rules
He works for Net54 / Your parents, not you
He is required to tell them what you have been doing if asked
He is required to tell them what you have been doing without being asked if he thinks it will impact the company
He is required to ensure your safety & the company’s safety at all times, if need be he will sling you over one shoulder and carry you home.
In “safe” areas, he (and other goldenkids Lugomen) are generally happy to get you there then give you some space while they go read a paper nearby if you ask them.
In low risk areas he will hang back provided you do what he says if he contacts you.
In higher risk areas he is glued to you.
His definition of risk is final.
He is not required to intervene if you are doing something naughty provided it doesn’t violate the above.
If naughtiness blows up and goes wrong he will:
Let you deal with it.
Politely inform any authority figure who you are and that he is your bodyguard and refuse to tell them anything more due to client confidentiality, neither confirming or denying your story.
When extracted, tell your parents what happened and how you got out of it.
If shit goes south he will:
Get you into as safe a position as possible
Hit a panic button that calls in the cavalry
His contract specifically does not require him to tell your parents about any conversations the 2 of you have. He has told you, which has been true as far as you can tell, that anything you ask him will stay private between you.

What you know about Diego
He was married long ago right out of the army, it didn’t work out and they got divorced.
He has 2 kids aged somewhere between you and Calista that he sees occasionally and are both getting corpzone jobs. He’s pretty happy that they are getting boring jobs and not joining the army.
He enjoys cyber football, boxing, pool and gadget tinkering - either fixing old things or bodging stuff together in his spare time. The messages to your V-trodes idea came after he saw a virtual flashlight that was coded to one set of trodes only and with the help of some guys in tech worked out how to bolt that function onto his coms unit.
His favourite Net54 show is Lazer Lass.
He gets very annoyed if you ditch him on the job, because he is responsible for your safety and will get in the shit. Not telling him you were going out somewhere dangerous and so not having a bodyguard assigned results in a mild tsking that is your fault if something happens to you.
He did have a small house in the corpzones, but since his kids moved out he has been re-allocated an apartment.
