Benefits Realization Planning

Dobson & Bennett IT Consulting will help you to achieve benefits through our Benefits Realization Planning and Tracking program that are tangible and financial, such as increased revenue, reduced cost of transactions. We will also assist you in creating the more important intangible "soft" benefits that include improved responsiveness to external demands, enhanced risk-containment and increased customer satisfaction.

Part of our role is to assist you in identifying, documenting, and creating tools for measuring the realization your hard and soft benefits through the use of our Benefits Realization Plan. Our team believes that planning ahead is the key, because it will enable you to start with a baseline of the current state, then put a process in place to capture what the benefits of your projects will be to your business.

Our Benefits Realization plan will clearly show you what will happen, where and when the benefits will occur and who will be responsible for their delivery. The plan for benefits will be integrated into or co-ordinate with your program plan and will be very clear about handover and responsibilities for ongoing operations in the changed state where the benefits will actually accrue.

Dobson & Bennett has a tracking process which monitors achievement of benefits against expectations and targets. Our tracking process is capable of tracking both "hard" (e.g. cost, headcount) and "'soft" (e.g. image) benefits that will operate alongside the changed operation.
