SALP in Sydney

We are based for a few days at the Faculty of Law at UNSW (University of New South Wales) but for most of the programme we visit other universities, organisations, events and areas around Sydney.

Students can also stay longer in Sydney or visit other parts of Australia after the programme has finished.

For the last four years of the programme, accommodation has been at Sydney Central Youth Hostel and the Blue Mountains Youth Hostel in Katoomba.

Through these activities, students learn about all the main research areas of the programme (indigenous rights, refugees and migrants, and gender and sexual diversity/equality) as well as the groups, issues and questions that they are particularly interested in.
