Under the #RLV/dch/gravid directory, you *must* place directories with numbers as names. The numbers correspond to months, weeks, or percentage through pregnancy. The HUD will attempt to determine which units you're using based on the highest-numbered directory present. For example, if you have shapes for the first, fourth, and sixth through ninth months, you would have the following directories:
#RLV/dch/gravid/0
#RLV/dch/gravid/3
#RLV/dch/gravid/4
#RLV/dch/gravid/6
#RLV/dch/gravid/7
#RLV/dch/gravid/8
#RLV/dch/gravid/9
Note that month numbering begins at *0*, not 1 (think "three months along" rather than "in the third month"). Since a normal pregnancy may be slightly longer than nine months, the contents of the "9" directory *may* be used.
Similarly, you can specify directories as percentages. Even the directory for 100% may be used briefly (since labor can commence any time *around* the expected due date). For example:
#RLV/dch/gravid/0
#RLV/dch/gravid/30 (12 weeks)
#RLV/dch/gravid/60 (24 weeks)
#RLV/dch/gravid/70 (28 weeks)
#RLV/dch/gravid/80 (32 weeks)
#RLV/dch/gravid/85 (34 weeks)
#RLV/dch/gravid/90 (36 weeks)
#RLV/dch/gravid/95 (38 weeks)
#RLV/dch/gravid/100 (full term)
You may also specify weeks instead of months or a percentage, but don't exceed 50, or the HUD will think you're using percentages. An example of the weeks-based method appears in the sample inventory window above.
Since the labor phase is unbounded, only a single directory is used:
#RLV/dch/labor
You are, by no means, limited to automatically wearing shapes. If you like, you can place other appropriate items (clothing, attachments, titlers) in the folders. Use your imagination!
Now that you've gone to all that work, you might want to make sure it all works! Make sure you have RLV enabled in your viewer. Then, click on the HUD, go to the Admin menu, and choose "RLVTest", and watch the show!
Note: If you have a "Herm" HUD, it must be in Female mode for the "RLVTest" option to appear.
m - menstruation phase
f - fertile phase
n - neither fertile nor menstruating
E.g., if you'd like something worn or a slight change in shape during the fertile phase, you must create *all three* directories as follows:
You have two options for the #RLV/dch/cycle directory. You can either use it in its entirety (i.e., all items will be worn or attached during the menstrual cycle), or you may create directories below it as follows:
Automated attach/wearThe HUD can automatically cause the avatar to wear certain items (including shapes!) according to the female cycle. All folders used by the HUD must exist in your inventory under:
#RLV/dch
("dch" stands for Deciduan Couples HUD). Items in the subfolders (described below) must adhere to RLV naming conventions: the attachment point must be contained in the name. E.g., a shape must contain the word "shape" in its name, a hat must contain the word "skull". See the RLV documentation for more on this.
The female is always in one of three states: cycle, gravid (pregnant), or labor. As such, you may place same-named directories under the #RLV/dch directory.
#RLV/dch/cycle/m
#RLV/dch/cycle/f
#RLV/dch/cycle/n
