Tributes to Prof.DJaya Shankar

Prof. Jayashanker was actively associated with the separate Telangana movement since his student days. After the emergence of Telangana Rasthra Samithi (TRS) headed by K Chandrasekhara Rao, Prof. Jayashankar has been the guiding force of the party's movement and liaisoning with Central leaders. Born in Hanamkonda on August 6, 1934, Dr Jayashankar did his M A in Economics from Benaras university and Ph D in Economics from Osmania University. He taught Economics at CKM College, Warangal.
