Please note: John Reitz passed in September

of 2008. On John's behalf, his wife Peggy and daughter

Ivy and son Ian accepted induction into the Hall of Fame.

Those who had the unique honor of playing Rugby with John in the 1970/80s for The Dubuque Rugby Club know the prosperity and joy it was to run side by side such an athletic and gentle soul who brought such Rugby finesse, aggression, and style to the Pitch. Many rookies and veterans became better Rugby players and teammates because of John's presence both on and off the Pitch, thank you John. Rugby heaven is even more so blessed with John among its Pitches.
