Cheers to the Founding Fathers among nearly 5 Decades of Rugby in DBQ !
Added to the list of Founding Fathers of Dubuque Rugby presently includes DBQ OldBoy
Donny Rusk for the newly established 2022 Riverboat Gamblers Rugby Club.
With plenty of help via coaches and supporters, the Gamblers overcame a lot of challenges as a new club among their very first Spring season in 2022 gathering plenty of lumps and lessons learned along the way—yet maintained a stellar can-do attitude and effective work ethic.
Thus, with a well-equipped perseverance, the Gamblers Team captured the Men's 15's Championship Division for the All-Iowa Tournament held in Iowa Falls in May of 2022—where there exists well-groomed pitches procured by the Iowa Falls Rugby Club Foundation and Community—truly acres of Heavenly Rugby Pitches:
