The clan of the rose. Those who are most connected to the mortal world, but usually in the most superficial and abusive way possible. The Toreador are beautiful, sensual, and creative. They tend to form the cultural and artistic backbone of whatever group they find themselves in. A stereotype paints the toreador as somehow weaker than the other clans because of their interests, this is rather far from the truth.
Socially the Toreador divide themselves into two groups: Artists and Poseurs. Artists are Toreador embraced because of some artistic talent, and Poseurs are toreador embraced just because of a nice body, pretty face, or charming personality. The two groups tend to hate one another.

Clan Weakness
The Toreador are always looking for an emotional fix, always looking for something novel to obsess over. They tend to go through mortals as lovers/muses/proteges like tissue paper because of this. Those used by a Toreador in this fashion always end up feeling emotionally drained, and usually bitter. Most of these relationships don't even involve the blood bond, some don't even involve any disciplines. The toreador simply charms their way into someone's life, showers them with attention, then leave once they get bored.
Certain toreador will be aware of this and have taken the rather drastic move of finding the perfect muse, turning them into a vampire, then blood bonding to each other.
The clan weakness also manifests in a much more noticeable way. Namely that whenever a Toreador is confronted with something they find beautiful they become entranced and must spend willpower to look away.
Political Affiliations
Anarch
Young politically minded toreador who have weak willed sire's tend to join the Anarchs. There is very few Toreador elders in the Republic, save for Christopher Houghton in Hollywood.
Camarilla
The elders and achillea of clan Toreador all find home in the Camarilla, indeed they helped build the sect. Younger toreador who are more ruthless and cutthroat love the Camarilla, while those that might balk at its archaic structure are usually coddled and indoctrinated for decades so they see it as the only option.
Independant
There is perhaps a few exceptionally old Toreador who are independant, but by and large even the elders of the clan of the rose love the Camarilla.
Sabbat
Theres a handful, but not many. First few have the desire to leave the Camarilla, and second the Antitribu bloodline absolutely loathes their parent clan.
