The Old Clan are a conglomeration of elders that resoundly said 'no' to the actions of the then neonates and ancillae when they plunged the clan into the first Anarch Revolt. The Old Clan does not believe that their Antediluvian was actually killed, but in the moment of his little death some of the elders had a moment of prescience regarding their founder and the discipline of fleshcrafting. From then on they viewed the Discipline as an unsafe and corrupting influence.
Using Koldunic Sorcery the elders did two things: purged themselves of Vicissitude utterly, and cut off those who would not follow from their brand of Koldunic Sorcery. Which would lead to certain members of the main clan making their deal with the Earthbound Kupala.
The Old Clan now live as lords of their domains in Eastern Europe, old and powerful enough to keep both the Sabbat and the Camarilla at bay.
