Using Google Maps/Earth with Project Learning Tree
Introduction to Google Maps and Google Earth
We will explore ways to use these powerful tools to expand on Field, Forest and Stream (PLT p.203) and Mapping Your Community Through Time (PLT Secondary Places We Live p.49). You will be able to use information from these exercises to create collaborative maps in Google Maps and to expand your skills by using the many tools and Galleries in Google Earth.
To get started, please make sure you are logged into your Google Account so that you can access Google Maps and Google Documents. And make sure that you have Google Earth installed on your computer.
