Responsibilities:

    • Management of teams of between 50 and 120 people.

    • Production engineering (metallurgy, welding, painting, assembly and packaging lines).

    • Technical service (workshop; field service; assembly, configuration and inspection; product warranties).

    • Outsourcing processes.

    • Manufacturing engineering (production capacity, useful design).

    • Product engineering (introduction, industrialization and product design improvements).

    • Dashboard of KPIs for production, technical service, quality, safety).

    • Visual management of production lines and workshops (5S).


Achievements:

    • Engineering: Industrialization of components obtaining 1M€ of net benefits in the 1st year through process reengineering, movement of machines, change of Layouts, etc. Creation of a hydraulic cylinder recovery center and implementation of an exchange program for it (€ 600k of net benefits in the 1st year).

    • Process and system integration from customer call, through service planning to the delivery of a repaired and invoiced unit, making a correct diagnosis of the incident with fewer contacts.

    • Creation of an incentive scheme to improve technicians productivity and customer service quality.

    • Implementation of customer satisfaction evaluation surveys.

    • Productivity: 10% improvement in throughput efficiency through adjustments in production planning and balancing of tasks.

    • Costs: 30% reduction of scrap in the 1st year; reduction of warranty costs (€ 300k of net profit in the 1st year); WIP reduction (30 for 8 days in service work order).

    • Continuous improvement: Implementation of process improvements from down-up through Kaizen events (CNC programming, packaging changes, etc.) representing 100k€ of net benefits in the 1st year.
