Bulge Discs and Fracture (May 2016)
Oldest patient treated so far, 92yrs old
Patient fall from gardening, CT scan reviewed minor T 12 disc fracture, spinal canal stenosis, marginal osteophytosis at multiple levels of vertebrae and multiple discs bulge L2/3, L3/4, L4/.
3 treatments resulted in pt having more range of motion and walk with ease. Unfortunately due to the nature of body healing, discs bulges may take 6 to 12 months to heal, while minor T12 disc fracture should heal within 6 to 8 wks.
Recommendation:
Bone healing depending on a good nutritional intake, good sleep and increase mobility and warm ointment to the region to increase circulation and the result is optimum healing of bone.
Discs bulge healing also have the same recommendation as above. Pt should also perform “prone cobra stretch” to help shrink the discs bulges (posterior disc bulges). Additional, body weight light squad exercise to stimulation blood and chi circulation to help the disc bulge and bone to heal fast is a must.
