Our Wolves had the great opportunity on November 3rd to learn two different ways -- A Den Meeting or a Zoo Overnighter. We had a very even split and both the Den "Meet-ers" and the Zoo "Trip-ers" had fun!
Zoo Trip Wolves learned through different centers, hands-on activities, crafts, and actual lights-out within the snake emporium. Very neat! The boys loved it and next year, we'll try to make it as a whole Den!
Our other Wolves had their own fun as we brainstormed some skits to try to learn next Den Meeting for the Pack Meeting. We then completed AN ENTIRE ADVENTURE LOOP -- Council Fire! A lot of the info was review, but the boys were completely engaged and we relearned a lot about the Outdoor Code, Leave No Trace, and tying an overhand and square knot!
A huge THANK YOU to all of our participating parents; we know the time involved is a lot and you all always show up uncomplaining. Thank you!!
Please go over COUNCIL FIRE with your Wolf if you weren't at the actual Den Meeting and we'll do a quick review during Talk Time at our next Den Meeting.
Also, we'll test our new Scouts at the Den Meeting for BOBCAT. There can be no Adventure Loops awarded unless the BOBCAT badge is earned.
I'm extremely proud of our boys as I know you all are too! Let's keep the momentum going! :)
Our next Den Meeting is SATURDAY, NOV 11 at 10 AM down at South Franklin Community Park!
