Fall Camp Out 2018: Camp Anawanna

Whelp -- this camp out was one for the memory books! It was our first ever Space Derby and the boys had a chance to see what it means to be flexible and use some good ol' fashioned ingenuity to find on-the-spot solutions to problems that sprout.

We had a ton of new campers, mostly younger boys, and lots of fun. Friday was game night and Saturday was a combination of rocket building, Space Derby, Pumpkin Ciphers, den time, hikes, kick ball, and of course, the perennial favorite, rough-housing. 

Many of the boys asked about bobbing for apples and the donut-on-a-string game, so we'll most likely go back to some "fall festival" themed activities next year. 

Pack 1017 also congratulated several new Bobcat ranking Tigers this weekend. We're all very proud of our Scouts!
