First upgrade - McGard weel locking nuts
You just can't do without those..............
I got them from Mazda dealer in USA.
Mazda part number is 0000-88-120C-BP - it's the same for NC and for NB.
I think they also the same for NA - but i never went to check it.
Sadly i lost my locking nut.
A phone call yo US customer service - they said me to speak with their Europeian office in Germany.
A phone to Germany - they siad no problem - just to enter replacement order via their Europeian web site.
30 Eur for 2 nuts including shipping - reasonable.
It took it about 6 weeks to arrive - way too long.
But both keys fit - so it's a happy end after all............
Clear Side blinker lights
Those look so much better than orange ones
Rear de-badge - i think it looks much cleaner and so much better
Scangauge II and Valentine 1 installation
Both installations went easy.
Plastic trim was removed from A-pillar and upper windshield frame to hide there the wires.
For the Scangauge i used 50$ mirror mount - it's too expensive and not that perfect - but it's OK.
Valentine's wires were really confusing - red+black didn't work. Eventually we found out that 2 center wires out of "phone cable" are used.
New floor mats
I hated stock carpets that i got with the car.
Those are probably locally made. They're quite durable but too thin, hard, wrong color and texture.
This how they look:
New carpets are stock USA ones and cost ~60$.
The fit is perfect (we wouldn't expect otherwise), color and tecture fit perfectly and, the most important bit, they quite a bit thick and fell soft - my anckle likes new carpet very much :-)
Very nice bonus is that back side is rugged rubber which makes them keeo in place without sliding:
