candles (tealights or other safe options), lanterns (battery, propane or kerosene)
Children's life jackets
Flashlights and batteries
towels (swimming and washing)
Clothes, toiletries, food, personal items
Strongly Suggest:
mosquito coils, citronella candles
tin foil, saran wrap, food storage containers/bags
insect repellant, sunblock, afterbite
first aid kit and medicines
Suggestions:
Your own bedding if you are more comfortable with that - bedding is provided
Sleeping bags or extra blankets if you feel the cold (each bed has one blanket/cover)
Lawn chairs (there are chairs at the cottage, but yours may be more comfortable)
Your favourite board games
Lifejackets
Firewood for campfire (firewood can be collected from the forest, some has been cut up along trail)
Paper plates to give you a break from doing dishes (burn the plates, don't fill the garbage with them)
Cooler for extra refrigeration capacity (ie. for beers)
Note - this list is not intended to be complete - bring the items that you require. Think about camping as you pack. Mattawa is about 20 km away for anything you find you need.
There will be a supply of essentials (water, candles, toilet paper.....) at the cottage to tide you over until you can get into town (Mattawa)
