We need to sort out how to protect people's privacy and yet keep the wiki as useful as possible. We already have a network, so the wiki isn't so important as a contact point. If we use first names only, and no address or other contact details, and someone wants to contact the organiser of an event whom they don't know already, they can either ask around or ask on the mailing list. The organizer would probably have posted about it before anyway.

We already have a private archive of the mailing list which only members can see, so anyone on the list can do that, and find the person they need to contact. Anyone not on the list would need to make contact with us in order to meet up and only then can they be on the list. That's cool, it makes use of the internet while keeping it in its place. We can even add a contact form in case a potential home schooler wants to meet up with the group or take part in events.

If you concentrate hard on the cross in the middle, an interesting thing happens. If you focus hard enough the dots disappear completely. There are so many of these illusions around that investigating them can lead to a very healthy view of what we call reality! Seeing may be believing, but it isn't necessarily knowledge.

If you click on the image, it will open in another window, it's an animated image and there's another effect you can see.
