Summary/Background:
Mr. Deaton used to do competition kata he called, "Kanku Dai" that was made-up from selected snippets of the other blackbelt katas.
(not associated to the Shotokan kata also called "Kanku Dai" which is the Funakoshi rename for "Kusanku")
Mr. Jones had a video with this kata, and Mr. Taylor and he re-learned it back around 2000 or so at the old Brentwood Sugar-Drop Shop dojo. (then forgot it). This was round the same time that they found and learned Suparinpei.
This is the transcription from that time that Mr. Taylor had made, and as of now, no-one knows where the VHS tape wondered off to. It might be the same VHS tape that
Had the Shindo Yoshin Ryu Self-Defense Seminar by Joe Rippy, and the Page High School Tournament with a greenbelt Mrs. Pogue and a goldbelt Miss Warrick. It might have also been on the VHS tape with Mr. Jones football helmeting the goat, or jumping the creek on his Evel Kneivel sky-cycle bike. It could also have been on the illusive Lynyrd Zepplin Concert Rockband VHS tape, that is now being bootlegged across the ghettos and dark alleys of Vietnam, Tansania, and Pango Pango.
Those are the only clues I (Mr. Taylor) have to finding that old VHS tape, since it was before the internet age of storage.
