SPECIAL MINISTRIES
Clergy Renewal Grants from Lilly Endowment for Indiana congregations are offered annually. The purpose is to strengthen Indiana congregations by providing opportunities for pastors to step away briefly from the persistent obligations of daily parish life and to engage in a period of renewal and reflection. Additional information and the opportunity to request a brochure/application is at indianaclergy.org .
GENERAL ENRICHMENT (Professional growth should lead the pastor into at least one area that is not directly related to pastoral ministry. The opportunities are unlimited, and could include things like health care, the arts, mechanical endeavors, development of skills in a sporting interest, a science project, etc.)
New Community Project Learning Tours a spirited and spiritually uplifting visit to another part of the world. And these trips aren't just for youth or just for "old people"--they're intergenerational experiences intended to challenge, change and renew us, while building relationships with our neighbors and with God's creation. Travel with David Radcliff and friends to Alaska, Burma/Thailand, Nepal, the Ecuadorian Amazon, or the Sudan to places where God's people and God's creation are struggling, for a first-hand look.
