Other Adult Ministries
Shepherd's Quilters
Each Tuesday morning, 9 AM to Noon.  Come help us sew quilts for those less fortunate.  You need not be a member to participate.
Prayer Shawl Ministry
The Prayer Shawl Ministry meets the first Tuesday of each month at 10:00 AM in the Conference Room next to the Church office. We continue to offer prayer shawls to those who need an extra measure of God's love or to those celebrating special events in their lives. We knit or crochet the prayer shawls in 3-stitch patterns which symbolize the three persons of the Trinity and we offer prayers for the recipients as we work. We invite and welcome you to come and see what Prayer Shawl Ministry is all about.  We have yarn and needles and are willing to teach any new member how to knit or crochet.  Please feel free to contact:  Doris Claybourn (, Chair of this Ministry.

The last photograph are shawls which were blessed by Pastor Bill and dedicated to the late and diligent prayer shawl contributor, Jeanette Wedenfeller.

Adult Education Ministries
Church 101.
Offered several times a year by Pastor Douthwaite to introduce the teachings of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod and the ministry of Shepherd of the Coast. This class leads to membership for those who wish to join the congregation and is also a good review for current members
