Sites at the upper reservoir and above it. See some documentation at Mountain Project for Tinka Dome. See below for Scout Slabs closer to the lake.
Scout Slabs:
Water approach: Paddle from the lower lake, portage to the upper lake and paddle across (May-August only, otherwise water drops too low)
Land Approach: Access 1- mostly contour hiking, longer hike. Take Dufrene Road to forest road number 8N21 to 8N22, dead ends to a trail. Using a map, cut cross country on ramps and avoid the bushy areas to reach destination.
Access 2- Road 8N18 to the curve in the road (bring along a map with forest service roads). Using a map, hike down about 800 feet in elevation, moderate bushwhacking required.
A beautiful site with incredible quality granite. There are about 5 toprope lines of mixed face/ crack climbing. Gear is needed to make anchors, only one climb has a toprope bolted anchor, but they are 3/8" bolts and quality hangers.
