Nature Changes Things October 2021

While new routes continue to be put up, there was major rockfall on Black Dome in October 2021 affecting established routes.

The Caldor fire has closed access and affected areas around Silver Lake and Kirkwood Lake.

Lodge Burned September 2023

The Bear River Resort burned down just before the Labor Day weekend. The bathrooms are now closed, some seasons you will see porta-potties provided.
