Isaac Reed Clifton, 71, of Vesta died Monday morning in a Marion Va hospital after a long illness.

A lifelong resident of Patrick County, he was a son of the late Robert and Adeline Rakes Clifton.

Surviving are a niece, Mrs. Myrtle Harbour and a nephew Elwyn Clifton, both of Route 4 Stuart.

Funeral services were held at 2 pm Tuesday in the Moody Funeral Home Chapel with

Elder J. M. Vipperman and Elder Bennie Clifton officiating. Burial was in the Lewis family cemetery Vesta.
